Bio and Shout out!

I'm 42 years old, and from 1988 till 1995, I competed on the circuit as a regular face won the California State Championship and several big national qualifiers then in 1995 after that Collegiate Nationals (3rd place) I retired from competition to get my masters in Teaching (Liberal Studies) which was and is rewarding!  

Training never stopped, even though I was not competing  (its been a 23 year passion which it still is, competition is icing on the   cake, not the cake!!! 

Anyway King Kamali and Nasser Al Sonbaty wanted me and convinced me to do a National after a 8 years of not competing (what a blessing!). Now as they say IM BACK to stay. 

So after being out for 8 years and moving up 2 weight classes  for the first time as a Heavyweight, it really shocked me and a lot of people. Again I teach grammar - 5th grade and have a great personal training business too (for 13 years)

 I plan next year(2004) to take the Masters Nationals.
