The first Annual Europa Orland Pro Show was a great success. The
Men's show had a total of 18 competitors step on stage, but like any
contest, there can be only one winner.
This year's 2009 Orlando Europa Pro winner was troy Alves.
Troy's 43 years old and has been competing for quite a while but this is his first pro win since turning pro at the 2002 USAs. Troy's looked real good at times but has failed to get the nod for the
win. Chris Aceto worked with him this year as well as a few other times
in the past. Chris said it's been hard working with Troy because he's
on one day and off the next day.
Whatever it is they did, they hit it right on the money and managed to impress the judges and me for the over-all win!
Hidetada had to defeat a few daemons before taking second at the 2009 Orlando Europa. It was a huge downer dealing with his troubles at the
US Border, spending a few months in the La County Tank and then not only losing his Weider contract but his sponsors also pulled out in Sponsoring a huge Bodybuilding and Expo in Japan.
Never the less, Hide bounced back, added size, increased his definition and came in shredded at this show, and I was impressed with his conditioning and over all balance.
Hidetada managed to beat his daemons, beat his fellow competitors, finished a respectable second, and I see more to come from this guy in the very near future.
In a few weeks he'll be in the New York Pro, and I wouldn't doubt he makes top 5 there as well.
