In 1997 Markus Ruhl earned his pro card by winning the Hessen Championships and one week later also the German Nationals. In 1998 he was invited and competed in the Night of Champions and placed 9th. Since then Markus competed in most every pro show to include the Olympia and retired but a few years ago.

Markus Ruhl is Back to Compete!

True to form of many type Bodybuilders, especially Pro Bodybuilder, Markus Ruhl has come out of retirement to compete this year. So, I find it ironic that he is starting his comeback at the New York Pro - the replacement to the now gone Night of Champions.

Here we thought the realm of monsters has come and gone; their skeletons buried below the KT line like all the other dinosaurs. But they're back! Jay Cutler's fighting for his Olympia title this year. Dennis James is back and healthy all be it a bit smaller and now joining the ranks is Markus Ruhl.

This year's bodybuilding just keeps getting better.
