Monica has gone from Fitness Olympia Champion to Pro Figure
Competitor. She's been 'THIS' close to winning an Olympia Figure title,
and it hasn't prevented her from trying over and over.
In this
video, we see Monica having to deal with the likes of Bob, but she
manages to make it through the video shoot by focusing on her workout.
Originally from Texas, Monica Brant was riding horses by age 5 and
giving lessons by age 14. Compteted in Vollyball and track in high
school as well as riding events. Monica's love for horses took her to a
fine arts college in Fulton, MO where she studied basics and equestrian
science for her first year. She moved on to San Antonio where she gave
riding lessons and did promotional work for Budweiser and competed in
bikini contests.
In
1991, she started lifting weights where Marla Duncan's physique
impressed her enough to try what she was doing, fitness competitions.
In 1994 she was honored with a Muscle & Fitness cover
which helped her realize her potential to earn some actual money in the
fitness industry.
In 1998 Monica won her first Fitness Olympia
and made number 45 on covers of magazine, books and calendars
worldwide. Monica says "I feel very blessed and fortunate to be able to
do what I enjoy: staying fit, encouraging others, and teaching what I
have learned."
