Success does "favor" the bold, true. But in the case of the enhanced
athletic female, it doesn't necessarily have to be a longer, harder,
stronger cycle. Bold can be just prudent, but practical.
We don't need
to compete with the boys, in terms of strength, drug coupling, pyramid
stacks, front loads , shotgunning or anything else. Women can still
arrive at their "destination" whether it's competitive or otherwise, in
one piece, still looking like women, and with appreciable muscle mass.
The "extreme" look has it's place and drugs are a HUGE part of that
equation- but that is not the goal of "this"' discussion.
We'll look at
good guidelines for "bold" but sound cycles.
1-Avoid "short" cycles- All bodies strive for homeostasis, but women
like steady hormones; whether they favor the anabolic kind or just
plain estrogen. Spikes wreck havoc on women, plain and simple. Remember
ladies, the PMS you got as a teenager.......? Magnify that times ten,
add strength to it, and you'll have a bad example of someone who just
plain copied the men's stacks and ended up, well...... not where they
wanted to go. Short is qualified as "6-8" for those who are not sure.
More moderate, longer cycles will keep you steady and not a train wreck.
2- Pair your drugs- Unless you are a true gear "virgin" having NEVER
done an anabolic in your life, don't do just one compound. Novices need
to know exactly what is doing what, so for them, ONLY do one drug,
gauge it's effectiveness, see how you handle it, and then record that
information. For those of us who've been around the drug "block," we
need to pair our compounds. FBB know that I typically like one
anabolic/one androgen paired together for the national women. This is
simply becuase most anabolics are on the weak side by themselves. You
"can" pair two anabolics together, but if two weak drugs are "married"
in your stack, you've wasted your time and your money.
3- Don't run anitestrogens all the way through- I know the FBB and top
figure girls HATE estrogen, as it wrecks havoc on hardness and
musclarity, but we need it. Control estrogen midway through, or closer
to the end. No need to KILL IT ALL at the beginning. You like your hair
, don't you? Save your nolvadex/arimidex for when you need it, not just
because you want to see yourself tighter right now- good things in
time, girls.
4- Longer cycles allow you to "cycle" your drugs - Longer cycles allow
you to "rotate" different drugs in as opposed to running them all at
once. This is my biggest pet peeve and the biggest error that I correct
in most womne's drug regimes. Since they don't know what does what and
when to use it, they simply throw EVERYTHING n at the same time and
carry through with it. There is no method to this madness, I don't care
what the women who do this tell you. Know what does what . Timing is
crucial.
5- Allow for time off- It's amazing to me that this even needs to be
stated, but hey, idiots are among us. You can't be on all the time. The
body needs a break. Your mind needs a break. Hell, your wallet needs a
break........ Cycle the drugs at the times in the year when you need
them, this includes the competitive year. You and your
body/partner/job/bank will thank me for this, trust me.
6- Understand that drugs don't build your body, YOU DO- Drugs don't
build you, you have to understand that. In their absence, you should
still train, eat, be consistent in the gym, remember your vitamins,
supplements, everything. Your gym time is merely your vehicle to your
destination. HOw and when you arrive there is ENTIRELY up to you; drug
enhance or otherwise.
Oh- and don't forget to enjoy the journey........... Onwards and upwards, friends.
