 Lee Priest wants back into the IFBB? Lee announced to what seems a gullible group of folks during the Arnold Classic weekend that he intends on returning to the IFBB. Lee even went as far as contacting Bob Chicerillo, the IFBB Athletes Rep, to announce his intent of returning.
Everyone that heard this took Lee's comments literally and announced it on the message boards. This group of folks went so far as to video tape Lee Priest's comments.
Lo and behold, this seemed to have been a just a trick by Lee Priest to see how far the rumors would go. Needless to say, a lot of feelings were hurt and and a lot of finger pointing ensued.
As you all may know, Lee Priest went against IFBB rules and competed in a PDI bodybuilding event. Lee was then suspended from the IFBB for good and the only way to come back is/was to serve some form of suspension and pay a fine.
Bob knowing what an impact it would be to bring back Lee into the IFBB immediately started working on a deal to bring Lee Priest back on board.
Here's the speculation: Did Lee really want to come back to the IFBB and used it as a means to blackmail Wayne Demilia? Or was this just a mean trick to stir the pot, throw some egg on the eager reporters and Bob's face?
Either way, it did seem to tarnish Lee's reputation a the expense of others.
Maybe they shouldn't have been so anxious to report this "great" news? DId they quickly forget that Lee likes to play games?
