The 2006 NPC JR USA Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships, to be held April 29 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center (Charleston, S.C). There are separate entry forms for bodybuilding, fitness and figure competitors. This year there are 4 weight classes for the Women's Bodybuilding and Figure competitors must qualify to compete in their division. The application must be fully completed and signed. If you are under 18 years old, make sure that your parent or guardian signs it. Once the application has been completed, send a money order - no personal checks - to pay for your entry fee and return it where instructed in your official entry form. Keep the information brochure for your own reference. There are no entry refunds.

You MUST be a U.S. Citizen to enter this event and proof MUST be sent with entry (copy of birth certificate, voter registration, passport, or DD214 (military discharge). Driver Licenses and Social Security Cards ARE NOT proof of citizenship.***BODYBUILDING AND FITNESS WILL ACCEPT LEGAL RESIDENT ALIEN GREEN CARDS. HOWEVER, BECAUSE THE “OVERALL" FIGURE WINNER WILL BE AWARDED A “PRO CARD”, ALL FIGURE COMPETITORS MUST BE UNITED STATES CITIZENS.***

In order for a U.S. athlete to be eligible for the 2006 NPC JR USA Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships, the athlete must have competed since January 1, 2004 and obtained one of the following placements in an NPC event:

Deadline for Entry mailing is Friday, April 7, 2006. Entries postmarked after April 7will be accepted until April 12, 2006. Entry fee for entries received between April 7and April 12 is doubled to $140. If doing both Fitness AND Figure, entry fee is $250.Absolutely no entries will be accepted after April 12, 2006.

MUSIC / NPC REGULATIONS• All contestants MUST supply their own music and bring TWO copies to the mandatory athlete’s meeting. Bodybuilders’ music not to exceed 90 seconds and fitness contestants not to exceed 2 minutes.• Posing music MUST be on an otherwise blank cassette tape or CD and MUST be cued to your music. NO PROFANITY!• CD’s and cassettes will be collected at the mandatory athletes’ meetings prior to prejudging.• Men and Women bodybuilding contestants will not use music at the prejudging. There will be 60 seconds of posing in prejudging for bodybuilders.• Women’s Fitness competitors will be allowed to use music at the prejudging (2 minutes).• No “T” back suits, metallic or vinyl will be allowed. However, female bodybuilding competitors will be allowed to wear multi-colored posing suits and jewelry at the evening show. Emphasis is on “good taste”!• Additional regulations pertaining to fitness and figure competitors only are set forth on the Fitness and Figure Entry Forms.
