Dexter Takes the 2006 Arnold |

Dexter Jackson took his second consecutive Arnold Classic win. This was a very close race between the other top six competirors: Gustavo Badell, Melvin Anthony, Lee Priest, Vic Martinez and honorable mention - Branch Warren. Branch Warren won the most muscular award and placed second. Many thought he had first place according to the initial call-outs.
Third was Victor Martinez who with the help of Chad Nicholls made an excellent showing for the first time this year. Gustavo Badell recieved fourth which was a shock for some as he is purpordedly the front runner for the Mr. O this year.
Melvin took 5th place with the best posing award. This was the best Melvin has looked but there is still room for improvement. Last, Lee Priest took sixth after his win at the 2006 Ironman Pro.
In all, it was a great show, excellent venue, and it is just the beginning with more to come for the year.
