Two Las Vegas bodybuilders accused of killing a woman and burning her body in the trunk of a car are back in the valley. Craig Titus and his wife Kelly Ryan are behind bars at the Clark County Detention Center and will appear in court this week.

They're charged with killing their Las Vegas live-in assistant, 28 year old Melissa James. Titus won a 1996 Bodybuilding Championship and competed in Mr. Olympia events. Ryan has won 8 professional championships.

Melissa James was headed home for the holidays to see her family and was supposed to be on a flight on December 13. It was a flight she never made. Police eventually found her body in the burned remains of Kelly Ryan's Jaguar, off of Route 160, on December 14.

Ryan was arrested in a Massachusetts nail salon, police found Titus waiting outside in this truck. The couple is now back in Las Vegas after appearing before a judge in Canton, Massachusetts.

The couple's attorneys claim that Titus and Ryan did not know they were suspects until after they left Las Vegas for Boston. Ryan was extradited back to Las Vegas on Thursday, and is scheduled to be in court Tuesday, January 31.

Titus arrived Saturday, his first court date is set for Wednesday, February 1. He faces charges of murder, Ryan faces accessory to murder charges, both are charged with third degree arson.
