JACKSONVILLE -- Four state Department of Corrections officers have been charged with steroid possession, according to court documents filed Friday.

The four men face up to a year in prison if convicted, The Florida Times-Union reported. All four are charged with possessing steroids in either 2002 or 2003, records show.

None of the four have been arrested, but they will receive summonses to appear in court. They were placed on paid leave Friday.
