If you are like me, you get tired of eating plain baked potatoes, day in and day out. These spicy wedges are a fat free way to jazz up an old boring potato. You can have these for breakfast, lunch or dinner and you will never get tired of them Watch out, though. These do carry carbs so watch your diet plan!
Ingredients: | Pam Cooking Spray (Butter or Olive Oil Flavor) | | 1 pound of Idaho baking potatoes | | ½ Teaspoon Ground Red Pepper | | 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped Fresh Parsley | | ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder | | ½ Teaspoon Onion Powder | | ½ Teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves | | ¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper | Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Peel the potatoes and cut each potato into 8 wedges (lengthwise). Place wedges in large bowl and spray with Pam. 2. Add parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, Thyme leaves, ground red pepper, and black pepper, to Pam coated potato wedges in bowl and toss until wedges are coated evenly with spices. 3. Place coated potato wedges on non-stick cookie sheet or jelly roll pan and cook for 50 minutes, turning wedges half-way through cooking time.
