Our very own Kevin Levrone is in a new movie, Red Line, which comes out April 13, 2007.
It's pretty rare for a non-studio film to get such a wide release, but it speaks volumes about the expectations that the Exhibitors have about this flick.
If you check out myspace.com you can see the ads running everywhere on the main page, just like they did for 300 and Borat -- coincidentally the last two monster hits that properly used Myspace for promotions.
If Kevin is in this movie half as much as I think he is, it will be a huge career boost for him.
Good luck, Kevin, we hope your career takes off.

After years of struggling with his 6'2" frame, we were the first to
realize his great potential and really promote him in 2006 with our
X-man series. Now, Toney is finally getting the attention he
deserves. He brought that shredded, skyscraper X-frame to the Iron Man
and Arnold Classic with one pro win under his belt, bone dry, with
remarkable detail for a big man - and more confidence than even Flex
Wheeler had back in the day.
Toney Freeman started off on Muscle Mayhem as an amateur competitor and later that year gained his Pro Card. We watched Toney struggle his way from Amatuer to Pro to Top 5 material.
Muscle Mayhem congratulates the X-Man.

Lee Priest wants back into the IFBB? Lee announced to what seems a gullible group of folks during the Arnold Classic weekend that he intends on returning to the IFBB. Lee even went as far as contacting Bob Chicerillo, the IFBB Athletes Rep, to announce his intent of returning.
Everyone that heard this took Lee's comments literally and announced it on the message boards. This group of folks went so far as to video tape Lee Priest's comments.
Maybe they shouldn't have been so anxious to report this "great" news? DId they quickly forget that Lee likes to play games?

After placing 4th at the 2006 Montreal Pro Classic, King Kamali posted on his website a thank you:
"Thank you all so so very much for all the fuel you provided me this year. I could not have made it back to the Olympia without your help. God Bless you all!"
The thank you was not a sincere thank you - rather, it was a sarcastic outlash to his haters. Some on the list are understandable such as Shawn Ray, but to inlcude Muscle Mayhem is unacceptable.

A new amendment is to be submitted to the IFBB asking the athletes be allowed to appear on behalf of companies they represent and/ or as individuals as IFBB athletes. The current amendment disallows IFBB athletes from making appearances unless the events are sponsored by or authorized by the IFBB. Do you think Bob Cicherillo, the IFBB atheletes representative wil be successful? |
